John has been adding yet more upgrades to his VW Transporter 'pop top' conversion this week with the addition of a rotating base unit to his passenger seat. As well as providing more useable living space in the rear of the camper the base also doubles up as a lockable safe - handy for storing valuables out of sight and in an unusual place!

We've been upgrading Stu's very nice T5 Transporter recently with some lovely units and a brand new Smart Beds rock and roll seat/bed unit, complete with fancy VW logo trim and seatbelts.
The Smart Bed features a really simple to operate, one-handed closure system, making it extremely easy to return the bed into its upright seating position. Smart Beds also take up as little room as possible in the rear of the van and have some great design features that set them apart from 'standard' rock and roll beds:
Stu's Transporter has also undergone a kitchen unit fitting using our pine finish units with a tambour door wardrobe in the rear. The kitchen units come complete with electric power meter and van/leisure battery switch and are ready to add plumbing and a sink unit in the future.
Prior to lining out and converting the van we added fixed tinted side windows to the mid panel and sliding door to allow some much needed light into the van. All of our window conversions are fully watertight and secure and can instantly transform any panel van into a leisure vehicle.
Our latest camper conversion comes in the shape of a lovely little van, the Nissan NV200, which has a surprisingly spacious living area with fold down (rock n roll) bed and a storage/kitchen unit.
The bespoke storage units were handmade by our joiner before we fitted the made-to-measure rock and roll bed, complete with seatbelts.
The NV200 camper looks like a great option if you're looking for a mid-sized van to convert and still has bags of storage and living capacity despite its relatively small-looking external dimensions.
