SJ Campers' very own Stu has (finally) got round to putting some finishing touches to his lovely T5 SWB.

To add to the existing rock n roll bed from Smart Beds we installed an under-seat drawer to provide extra storage as well as to tidy up the look of the interior.

The kitchen units were extended to accommodate a new Waeco fridge (complete with power, of course), and a sink/gas hob unit - providing the full, luxury camper van kitchen experience.

Oof, it looks good!

We've been providing this service for some time now across South Cumbria. Simply let us know where and when you need us and - job dependent - we'll be there with all of the necessary tools and materials to get the job done, whether it be at your home or work place. It's a popular option!

Our latest mobile installation came on this smart T5 conversion with a full leisure electrics installation. We neatly fitted a leisure battery under the driver's seat and installed a split charger in order to keep the leisure battery charged from the main (engine) battery, eliminating the problem of having to constantly charge the leisure battery or flattening the main battery.

Once installed we added LED lighting, plug socket/charge points and switches around the kitchen units - all done on the customer's drive!

It's been super busy at SJ Campers over the last couple of months - so busy that we've had no time to update our blog, sorry folks!

But we like to keep you up to date on the goings on at camper conversions HQ, so here's the first in a long list of conversions we've been doing since we last posted an update.

A Speedy Turnaround

We got this lovely black 06 plate back from the paint shop 3 days late! So in one day we removed the old metal bulkhead, put in new tinted and sliding windows, carpet lined the walls and ceiling, added insulation, put a new floor down and installed four LED touch-operated lights - all ready for James to get away in over the bank holiday :)
